Job summary

HCLTech in Bengaluru is seeking a TSP Mainframe Systems Programmer to research, design, develop and support IBM CICS and z/OS Connect assets across their life cycle. The role covers installation, maintenance, patching and ongoing support of related software and tools.

The candidate will identify technologies to improve reliability, efficiency and availability of transaction systems. Familiarity with IBM z/OS, TSO/JCL and Change Management tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM CICS and z/OS Connect in enterprise environments.

Job description

The TSP Mainframe Systems Programmer performs research, evaluations, designs, development, testing, operational maintenance, security and support of IBM CICS and z/OS Connect technology assets and software through their entire life cycle residing on the mainframe. This position performs installations, maintenance, patching and support of all CICS & z/OS Connect software and related software & tools. This position also identifies and implements technologies and processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, automation and availability of the transaction systems environments.
