Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Mainframe Administrator and Workload Scheduler professional in Bengaluru to manage and optimize z/OS batch workloads.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in mainframe administration, strong IZWS/TWS expertise, and hands-on ESP Workload Automation. You will support migrations, monitor jobs via DWC, and ensure reliable OPS execution in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Administrator and Mainframe Workload Scheduler Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with IZWS, IBM Z Workload Scheduler and Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS).
• Experience with ESP Workload Automation on IBM z/OS mainframe environments.
• Good understanding of OPC - Operations Planning and Control and scheduler-related mainframe operations.
• Hands-on experience with OMA tool for workload scheduler migration activities.
• Experience in mainframe product migration, scheduler migration planning, validation, and post-migration support.
• Working knowledge of DWC - Dynamic Workload Console for monitoring and managing workload schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mainframe workload scheduling and administration on z/OS platforms.
• Plan and validate scheduler migrations, including post-migration support.
• Monitor and optimize workload schedules using DWC and related tools.
• Coordinate OPS activities and ensure seamless execution of batch jobs.
