Job summary

Sreejiinfosys in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex applications on the z/OS platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust mainframe solutions.

The role requires hands-on work with CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ and security concepts like RACF, plus expertise in batch scheduling using TWS and Control-M; there will be system upgrades and migrations across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years in IT with strong z/OS knowledge.
• Proficiency in Batch Scheduling Tools (TWS/Control-M) and SDSF; SMP/E knowledge preferred.
• Hands-on experience on Mainframe systems with CICS, DB2, IMS and MQ.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software applications on IBM mainframes using z/OS operating system.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet customer needs.
  


• Develop expertise in various technologies such as CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, RACF/Security concepts.
  


• Troubleshoot issues related to batch scheduling tools like TWS/Control-M and SDSF.
  


• Participate in system upgrades and migrations from one platform to another.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-12 years of experience in IT industry with strong knowledge of z/OS environment.
  


• Proficiency in Batch Scheduling Tools (TWS/Control-M) & SDSF; Knowledge of SMP/E preferred.
