Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a System Administrator for client engagements in India to manage mainframe hardware, forecast resources, and support infrastructure modernization initiatives. The role involves coordinating procurement, budgeting, and large-scale changes while aligning with business demand.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IBM Z architecture, CPC configuration, and enterprise mainframe infrastructure.
• Experience in capacity forecasting, performance modeling, processor sizing, and resource optimization.
• Expertise in hardware lifecycle management, upgrade planning, and infrastructure capacity management.
• Experience with financial planning, ROI analysis, and technology investment planning.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud environments, including on-prairises to doud rnigrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL Change Management and infrastructure governance processes.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, VMware ESX, and public/private cloud environments, including on-prarlises to doud rnigrations.
• preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with IBM ZPCR, ZBNA, RMF, SMF, and mainframe performance analysis tools.
• Knowledge of LPAR configuration, Parallel Sysplex, workload optimization, and capacity planning.
• Experience supporting IBM Z hardware refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, infrastructure budgeting, cost optimization, and vendor management.
• Understanding of ITIL Change Management and infrastructure governance processes.
• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (laC), vulnerability management, Active Directory, and ADFS. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, presentation, and decision-support skills in enterprise environments.
