Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Chennai is seeking a seasoned Mainframe professional to join our development and maintenance teams. The role focuses on Cobol-DB2-CICS-VSAM workloads, requiring strong analysis and ability to optimize operational workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to testing, performance tuning, and ongoing modernization initiatives. 3 days from office indicates a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Cobol, DB2, CICS, JCL and VSAM experience are mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze system requirements and optimize Cobol programs.
• Knowledge of Git, IDZ and windsurf is a plus.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and incident troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Extensive hands-on experience on Cobol-DB2-CICS-VSAM programs.
