Job summary

Consult Asia in Delhi is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL applications. You will work on batch and online processing in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple teams.

The ideal candidate has 6–11 years in mainframe development with 5+ years in CICS, strong COBOL/JCL/DB2/VSAM skills, and familiarity with z/OS and RCA.

Healthcare domain exposure is a plus, and you will participate in Agile delivery and release support.

Qualifications

• 6–11 years of experience in Mainframe development with 5+ years in CICS development.
• Strong in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, batch processing, debugging, and production support.
• Healthcare exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL mainframe applications.
• Handle batch and online processing.
• Troubleshoot DB2/JCL/CICS issues and support releases.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate with stakeholders.
