Job summary

Consult Asia is seeking an experienced mainframe developer to design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL applications in a fast-paced environment. You will handle batch and online processing, troubleshoot DB2/JCL/CICS issues, and support releases.

Ideal candidates have 6–11 years in mainframe development with at least 5 years in CICS, strong COBOL/JCL/DB2/VSAM, and exposure to healthcare projects preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–11 years of mainframe development with at least 5 years in CICS.
• Strong COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, batch processing, debugging and production support.
• Healthcare exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL mainframe applications.
• Handle batch and online processing and troubleshoot DB2/JCL/CICS issues.
• Support releases, perform RCA, coordinate with stakeholders, and participate in Agile delivery.
