Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai, India is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer to work on legacy and modern integrations. You will handle JCL, COBOL, and VSAM workloads, interfacing with z/OS Connect EE, DB2 Rest, and CICS webservices.

Proficiency with SOAP, WSDL, JSON and familiarity with SOA and RESTful APIs is required. Experience with Gitlab, Endevor, JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins will be highly valued in a DevOps environment.

Qualifications

Must have

• Experience working in ZOS connect EE and DB2 Rest and extensive knowledge in CICS webservices
• Proficient with SOAP, WSDL and JSON. A comprehensive understanding of SOA and Restful APIs
• Experience of working with code repositories, bug tracking tools and wikis Tools - Gitlab, Endevor, JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge of different security integration patterns such as basic authentication, client authentication (MATLS) and Oauth(JWT)
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies – CICD practices, Jenkins.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Spring Boot's annotations, configuration, and how it simplifies Spring application setup and deployment.
