Responsibilities

• Develop & enhance COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL applications for core banking, payments, settlements, and reporting.
• Maintain 24x7 production systems, ensuring stability in high-throughput environments.
• Optimize DB2 performance through complex queries, indexing and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues using Abend-AID, XPEDITER; perform root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Automate batch pipelines using JCL and REXX; manage batch recovery and restart strategies.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to enable API-led integration and modernization initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & enhance COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL applications for core banking, payments, settlements, and reporting
