Qualifications

• Strong COBOL programming experience on IBM Mainframe (z/OS).
• Hands-on with IBM mainframe Assembler for reading, analysing, and debugging.
• Good exposure to DB2, including SQL and embedded SQL in COBOL.
• Familiarity with migration projects for one or more customers.
• Experience of working in Production support.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams on complex projects with good oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of JCL for batch execution and debugging.
• Experience with file handling (VSAM, flat files, sequential files).
• IDMS experience (schemas, subschemas, DML commands).
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC and delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent analytic, problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes during migration phases.
• Team player, working closely with QA, Customer and IBM teams.
