Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai seeks an experienced MVS Assembler with 3+ years in IBM Mainframe environments to design and deliver mainframe applications.

You will work with COBOL/PL1, DB2 and JCL, participate in SDLC, mentor juniors, and collaborate with onshore/offshore teams in the banking domain.

Qualifications

• Must have MVS Assembler and JCL proficiency.
• Strong IBM Mainframe Assembler knowledge.
• Experience with Cobol, PL/1, DB2, JCL, ISPW, ISPF and MQ series.
• Experience in banking domain and credit/lending systems.
• Proven SDLC and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop IBM Mainframe Assembler based applications.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.

• 4 Expertise in designing, development of IBM Mainframe Assembler based Applications
• 5 Experience in writing HLD, LLD and creating data flow diagrams
• 6 Experience with Banking domain, Line of credit and Retail Banking Industry.
• 7 Strong Analysis and Design experience in complex applications
• 8 Expertise & Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
