Requirements & Skills

Type of Hire: Full-Time

Mandatory Skills:

Strong experience (15+ years) in mainframe application development with proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, IMS, ReXX, EZT etcExposure to hybrid architecture with both mainframe and distributed applicationsExposure to any performance tuning activities in Mainframe like API integration, monolith code componentization, SMF log analysis, Database fine-tuning etcUnderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices and working knowledge in DevOps (CI/CD)Experience with version control systems and software configuration management toolsFamiliarity with testing methodologies and tools for mainframe applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issuesExcellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code and solutionsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment

Nice to have:
