Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Architect to define and lead enterprise-level architecture and modernization initiatives. You will provide technical leadership across COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM, shape architecture standards, and guide modernization, migration, and transformation efforts.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, performance tuning, and the ability to mentor teams on Mainframe best practices.

Qualifications

• 9 to 15 years of experience in Mainframe technologies.
• Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience in application architecture, design, and solution development.
• Strong understanding of Mainframe infrastructure and batch processing environments.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and architecture frameworks.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and architect-level engagements.
