Job description

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

• Machining of core, cavity, other elements as per the drawing/plan provided.
• Planning of critical fixture for Sink Edm requisites.
• Maintaining the jobs as per the required accuracy levels.
• Suggest the spark gaps and choose the right process to get desired dimension and surface finish.
• To read the electrode offset drawings and sink edm the job as per the drawing dimensions.

Equipment Used

Sink Edm machine, Measuring equipment, Telephone, Computer & Photocopier & Fax.

Other Position Duties

Reporting the daily/monthly utilization of the machine.

Technical/Functional Skill Sets

• Good knowledge on electrode design with the suitable spark gaps for meeting the requisites.
• Good hands on experience in using basic metrology equipment.
• Good knowledge of working in CNC sink edm machines Agie Charmilies, Makino, Sodick etc.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Personal Qualities/Characteristics required for the position

• Good vision of eye sight.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.
