Role & responsibilities

• Supervise machinists, provide training/mentoring, conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, and foster a positive safety culture
• Plan and execute production schedules, optimize workflow, manage resources (man, machines, tools, materials), and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Implement quality control, ensure adherence to standards, manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and drive root cause analysis
• Enforce safety protocols, manage compliance with EHS regulations, and support environmental programs
• Apply LEAN principles, develop efficient machining processes, design fixtures, and manage equipment maintenance
• Control tooling costs and ensure cost‑effective operations
• Prepare production reports through ERP system and communicate to management periodically

Preferred candidate profile

• Year of experience Min 10-15 years of experience of heavy CNC machining (HMC, VMC, VTL, Lathe, Milling etc.) 10 to 12 years of experience as first/second line leader, in mechanical field for a heavy forging/CNC Machining industry - Mandatory
