Job summary

Shalina Healthcare in Pune seeks a Granulation Operator to support tablet production. You will operate granulation equipment, follow SOPs, and ensure cGMP compliance. You’ll participate in shift handovers and strive to meet daily targets within the monthly plan.

Ideal candidates hold ITI/Diploma or B.Sc./B.Pharm with 2–5 years in tablet compression in regulated pharma. Familiarity with compression machines and safety standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be trained in granulation processes and equipment operation.
• Experience with cGMP, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with compression-related processes and tablet production.

Responsibilities

• Operate granulation equipment including Sifter, RMG, FBD, Multimill, Cadmill and Blender.
• Clean equipment per SOPs and cGMP requirements to maintain hygiene.
• Maintain SOPs, documentation (BMR/BPR) and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with shift members for smooth handovers and targets.
• Aim to meet daily production targets and support monthly plans.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain 5S, GMP compliance and proper resource utilization.

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate Granulation equipment including Sifter, Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG), Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD), Multimill, Cadmill, and Blender.
• Perform cleaning of granulation equipment as per SOPs and cGMP requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, BMR/BPR documentation, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth shift operations and effective shift handovers.
• Achieve daily shift production targets to support the monthly production plan.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any abnormalities.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and GMP compliance in the production area.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and production resources.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, Warehouse, and other cross-functional departments whenever required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

1. ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. / B. Pharm or equivalent.
2. 2yrs 5 years of experience in tablet compression in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
3. Good knowledge of cGMP, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
4. Familiarity with commonly used compression machines
