Job summary

Belco Pharma is seeking a maintenance professional to operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging lines. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and timely breakdown response to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pharma machinery, a solid grasp of GMP/SOPs, and the ability to work independently with the production team to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging machines. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Attend to machine breakdowns and ensure minimum production downtime. Carry out machine inspection, lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of worn-out parts. Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
• Ensure machines are maintained in accordance with company SOPs and GMP requirements. Support machine installation, commissioning, and performance improvement activities. Coordinate with the production and quality departments for smooth operations. Follow all safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.

Preferred candidate profile

• Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical machinery and equipment.
• Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical safety requirements.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
