Job summary

HRD House in Bengaluru is seeking a maintenance engineer to oversee production machinery, AHUs, humidity-control systems, and other plant utilities in a pharma & wellness manufacturing setup. You will plan preventive and breakdown maintenance, coordinate installations and startups, and drive reliability improvements.

The role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation domains, with 6–10 years in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in pharmaceutical environments.

Qualifications

• BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics with 6–10 years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical production plants and packing machinery.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation domains.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production machinery, packing equipment, AHUs, humidity-control systems, and other plant utilities.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance, monitor overdue work orders, ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate equipment installation, commissioning, startup activities, planned shutdowns and maintenance handovers.
• Collaborate with machine-development and engineering teams to improve equipment design and serviceability.
• Establish standardized maintenance systems, troubleshooting guides, and equipment histories.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Candidate will be worked for reputed Pharma & Wellness Manufacturing Bangalore and he will be responsible for maintaining production machinery, packing equipment, air handling units (AHUs), humidity-control systems, compressed air systems, and other plant utilities.
• 2. Candidate will be responsible for Planning and executing preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, monitoring overdue work orders, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• 3. Candidate will be responsible for Coordinating equipment installation, commissioning, Startup activities, planned shutdowns, and maintenance handovers to ensure safe and reliable production operations.
• 4. Candidate will be responsible for Collaborating with machine-development and Engineering teams to improve equipment design, serviceability, troubleshooting procedures, and preventive maintenance practices.
• 5. Candidate will be responsible for Establishing and standardising maintenance systems, troubleshooting guides, equipment histories, and critical-spares lists for new machines and production lines.
• 6. Candidate will be responsible for Analysing recurring equipment failures, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with Engineering to improve equipment reliability.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1. BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a relevant engineering discipline, with 6-10 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in pharmaceutical production and packing machinery.
• 2. Candidate should have good knowledge of Preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production and packing machinery in pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
• 3. Candidate should have good knowledge of Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, instrumentation, and industrial control systems troubleshooting, with strong hands-on expertise in a primary technical discipline.
• 4. Candidate should have good knowledge of Maintenance planning, lubrication management, equipment criticality assessment, downtime analysis, and maintenance documentation.
• 5. Candidate should have good knowledge of Technician supervision, cross-functional coordination, troubleshooting under production pressure, and continuous improvement of maintenance systems.
• 6. Candidate should be good in Pharmaceutical plant utilities, including AHUs, HVAC, humidity-control systems, compressed air, and other production-support systems.
