Lloyds Technology Centre in Hyderabad is seeking an Engineering Lead with 16-20 years of experience to drive strategy and a roadmap for multiple engineering teams. The role blends leadership with hands-on software engineering and cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams, within a hybrid working environment.

Job Summary

Your role as an Engineering Lead is to be a visionary leader who works collaboratively with others to create an organisation that provides the best value propositions to our customers. You will be responsible for leading a team of up to 20 engineers.

You ll encourage teams to actively take part in Guilds, Inner Source activities and other forums and meet-ups through which our engineering methods and practices can be shared and developed so that new insights and ideas can be brought back to the lab to further improve engineering effectiveness.

You ll have responsibility for hiring and growing existing engineering talent across the engineering teams enabling teams to reach their full potential.

You ll enable a culture of learning and continuous improvement through a Fail Fast, Learn Faster mentality within teams to experiment and test new ways of engineering, to act as a change agent for engineering and team culture, and to foster a systems-thinking and user-experience led design approach.
