Job summary

EMBI in New Delhi seeks an experienced M365 L2/L3 Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and PowerApps. You will coordinate delivery teams and drive go-live readiness.

The role requires hands-on administration, technical leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into low-level designs, while maintaining security and compliance across O365 services.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Program, and go live support
• Responsible for Leading multiple delivery teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Plan, track and manage tasks, delivery timeline, budgets & resources
• Vendor management SOWs, and governance
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to team
• Partnering with business stakeholders, architects to understand business requirements and low-level technical designs
• Provide complete administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and its capabilities including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and PowerApps
• Support security policies, such as data retention.
• Provide L2/L3 support for end users, experiencing problems with Office 365 applications and services.
• Review, test, monitor and make recommendations for standard O365 practices areas for improvement.
• Manage anti-spam filtering, logging and email tracking and transport rules.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in accordance with company policies.
• Support Single Sign-On using Active Directory Federation Services with Multi Factor Authentication.
• Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell.
• Perform migrations and deployments related to the building, upgrade and maintenance of O365 environment.
• Monthly audits on the Active Directory & O365 environment to reconcile users.
• Manage user's mobile devices through Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (MS Intune).
• Create security and distribution groups in Active Directory.
• Create user guides and instructional documents for end-users; Train team members on how to use Office 365 effectively.
• Backup and Recovery of O365 environment
• Maintaining security by monitoring the system for potential vulnerabilities, identifying risks, and taking action to mitigate them.
• Troubleshooting technical issues such as email delivery failures or authentication problems
• Managing the deployment of new features or functionality after they have been tested in a staging environment.
• Log calls into ticketing systems / ITSM Process
• Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
• Handle Escalations
• Important position might have to extend support hours in case of emergencies.
