Job summary

SHF Design Engineering in Chennai is seeking an Estimation & Tendering professional to handle LV equipment projects, including switchgear, panels, bus ducts and related ITT documentation. This role focuses on accurate cost estimation, compliance with specifications, and timely tender preparation.

The candidate will review RFQs, prepare BOQs and technical/commercial proposals, and respond to bid clarifications, contributing to competitive quotations for LV electrical solutions and support for

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing Estimation & Tender documents for LV equipment and panels.
• Familiarity with standards, codes and tendering processes.
• Ability to prepare BOQ, technical & commercial proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review Customer RFQs and Bidding Documents.
• Review SOW and Technical Specifications of the Project.
• Prepare compliance to specification and list of deviations with justification.
• Prepare Estimation Documents (BOQ).
• Prepare Technical & Commercial Proposals in compliance with the appropriate Standards, Codes, Specifications, etc.
• Respond to Pre‑Bid and Post‑Bid Clarifications for the offered quotation.
• Prepare weekly status reports for the direct supervisor/manager.

BROAD FUNCTIONS

Responsible for Estimation & Tendering of LV Equipment, including but not limited to LV Switchgear & Control Gear, Panel Board, Distribution Board, LV MCC, ATS/AMF Panels, Generator Synchronization Panels with EATON Product/Software, APFC Panels, Lighting Control Panels, Package SS, Unit SS, LV Bus Duct, and Cable Tray/Ladder.
