Qualifications

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Ability to read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) accurately.
• Experience estimating cost structures for Siemens PLCs/Drives and heavy industrial LT panels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client RFQs, tender documents, and SLDs to prepare estimations, costing sheets, and BOQs for integrated projects.
• Configure pre-bid configurations for Siemens automation architectures (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, VFDs).
• Select switchgear components for custom LT panels up to 6300A.
• Draft technical and commercial proposals with compliance clauses, deviation sheets, and price metrics.
• Support sales with technical presentations and defend engineering configurations during pre-bid meetings.
• Coordinate with internal design and procurement to validate costs for competitive bidding.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Technical Estimation & Costing: Analyze client RFQs, tender documents, and electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs). Prepare detailed estimations, costing sheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for integrated projects.
• Solution Engineering: Configure accurate pre-bid configurations for Siemens automation architectures (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, VFDs) and select appropriate switchgear components for custom LT panels (up to 6300A).
• Partner Coordination: Interface with strategic principals like Schneider Electric to secure competitive pricing, back-to-back quotes, and technical layouts for Medium Voltage/High Voltage (11KV & 33KV) ICOG panels.
• Proposal Preparation: Draft comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring all compliance clauses, deviation sheets, and price metrics are accurately presented.
• Sales Support & Client Management: Work closely beneath the Sales Head to deliver technical presentations, defend engineering configurations during pre-bid meetings, and follow up on outstanding inquiries with clients.
• Vendor & Procurement Alignment: Coordinate with internal design and procurement teams to validate current component costs (ACBs, MCCBs, controllers) to ensure highly competitive yet profitable bidding.

Desired Profile:

• Academic Foundation: Full-time B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Core Competency: Must possess an excellent ability to accurately read Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and interpret high-value turnkey tenders from continuous-process industries or infrastructure consultants.
• Product Exposure: Proven experience estimating cost structures for Siemens PLCs/Drives portfolios alongside heavy industrial LT Panels (PCC/MCC) and HT/MV Switchgear.
• Prior experience working beneath a Sales/Business Head at an authorized System Integrator or a Electrical Panel Builder partner is highly preferred.
