Job summary

Aritha in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop, maintain and support cellular protocol stack software for mobile devices. The role concentrates on core Layer-1 development for 2G/3G/4G, on UE or network sides, with emphasis on robust debugging on RTOS platforms.

Candidates should have strong C/C++ programming skills and hands-on embedded experience, capable of analyzing and optimizing protocol stacks. Prioritizing 2G Layer-1 Controller experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidate is responsible for development, maintenance and support of cellular protocol stack software for mobile phones.
• Proven software development experience in core Layer-1 of at least one wireless telecoms standard namely 2G/3G/4G, either on the UE or NW side.
• Strong preference for candidates with 2G Layer-1 Controller experience.
• Good understanding of relevant Layer-1/2G specifications.
• Experience in embedded software development.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
• Design/Development of stack on RTOS-based platforms.
• C and/or C++ programming experience.
