Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai is seeking a LTE/5G Baseband Protocol Stack Engineer to develop and test baseband software across L1/L2 layers, MAC, RLC and PDCP within a Cloud RAN environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, IODT testing, and strong troubleshooting skills to optimize network performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust protocol validation and feature delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with LTE/5G Baseband and protocol stacks (L1/L2, MAC, RLC, PDCP)
• Hands-on experience with Cloud RAN, Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of IODT testing and protocol validation
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize LTE/5G RAN performance

Job Description

We are looking for skilled LTE/5G Protocol Stack Engineers with hands-on experience in Baseband development, Layer 1 (L1), Layer 2 (L2), MAC, RLC, PDCP, Cloud RAN, Docker, Kubernetes, and IODT testing. The candidate will be responsible for protocol validation, feature testing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of LTE/5G Radio Access Network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
