Job summary

Alstom in Bangalore is seeking a full‑time Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Lead to drive LSA processes and deliverables across projects. You will work with Rolling Stock, Signalling and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and maintainability of solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of engineering experience and proven LSA leadership, plus strong RAMS knowledge and stakeholder management. A challenging, collaborative environment and long‑term career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering roles or work package management.
• Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) including processes, standards and tools.
• Strong maintainability and supportability engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage the LSA process and deliverables across projects.
• Lead the extended LSA team for complex projects requiring staffing.
• Forecast workload for LSA activities and ensure staffing.
• Develop and implement the LSA management plan for assigned projects.
• Execute LSA studies and deliver outputs aligned with project phases.
• Monitor planning, cost and quality of LSA deliverables; report progress.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for interface management.
• Validate supplier commitments to align with project goals.
• Ensure ISR components meet lifecycle cost performance; support design reviews.
• Produce LSA KPI dashboards and propose process improvements.

Your future role

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of LSA processes and deliverables across projects, contributing significantly to the reliability and maintainability of our solutions. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Rolling Stock, Signalling, and Infrastructure), coordinate cross‑functional activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the LSA domain.

You’ll specifically take care of managing the LSA process and deliverables, but also lead the extended LSA project team and ensure alignment with customer and project requirements.

We’ll look to you for:

• Managing the implementation of the LSA process to conduct studies and provide contractual deliverables on projects
• Leading the extended LSA team for complex projects requiring large‑scale staffing
• Identifying and monitoring workload forecasts for LSA activities and ensuring adequate staffing
• Developing and implementing the LSA management plan for assigned projects
• Executing LSA studies and delivering outputs in alignment with project phases
• Monitoring planning, cost, and quality of LSA deliverables and providing regular reporting
• Coordinating with cross‑functional teams for smooth interface management
• Validating and challenging supplier commitments to ensure alignment with project goals
• Ensuring consistency of ISR (Integrated Support and Reliability) components to meet lifecycle cost (LCC) performance
• Supporting ISR project leads in design reviews and work‑package evaluations
• Producing LSA KPI dashboards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Providing REX (Return of Experience) reports and proposing process enhancements

• Engineering degree (University level) or equivalent qualification/experience
• Over all 8+yrs of experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering roles or work package management in Rolling Stock, Signalling, Systems, or Infrastructure
• Proven experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), including processes, standards, and tools
• Strong expertise in maintainability and supportability engineering
• Experience leading and managing LSA activities in projects
• Proficiency in English (minimum working level)
• Experience in customer interfacing and stakeholder communication
• Hands‑on experience in supplier/subcontractor management
• Knowledge or practical experience in RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety)
