Job summary

Alstom in Savli, Gujarat is seeking a full-time Logistics Engineering Lead to design warehouse layouts, internal flows and storage policies while reducing costs and optimizing cash usage. You will collaborate with Logistics Engineering, Warehouse, subcontractors, and vendors to implement efficient processes across production and construction needs.

Ideal candidates have an engineering degree in Transport/Automobile, 10+ years in logistics and supply chain operations, and strong knowledge of ERP

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Transport or Automobile fields is required.
• 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in supply chain information systems and ERP (e.g., SAP).
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transport and distribution.
• Understanding of lean management and EHS culture.
• Familiarity with industrial data management and supply chain design.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 1-2 individuals with strong leadership skills.
• Design supply chain processes aligned with industrial requirements.
• Define subcontractor and vendor logistics requirements.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your logistics and supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a vital role in designing physical flows to meet Production, Operations, and Construction requirements while minimizing costs and optimizing cash usage. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Logistics Engineering, Warehouse, subcontractors, and vendors), defining and implementing efficient processes and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of designing warehouse layouts, internal flows, and storage policies, but also driving cost-reduction and process-improvement opportunities.

We’ll look to you for:

• Leading a team of 1-2 individuals with strong leadership skills

• Designing supply chain processes aligned with industrial requirements
