Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in packaging or operation of rotating equipment.
• Minimum 10 years experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and related process industries.
• Experience across Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Proposals, or Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical scope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects.
• Lead global technical project teams of multi-discipline engineers, designers and suppliers.
• Ensure on-time release of equipment specifications, BOMs, and customer documentation.
• Lead all technical contract requirements, including certifications and standards compliance.
• Provide engineering support during proposal, manufacturing, testing, installation and operation.
• Translate contract requirements to the project team and support design decisions.

Rotating Equipment Engineer

Job Location:- Pune

Manage complete technical scope for supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects including gas turbine-generators, gas turbine-compressors, electric motor-driven compressor trains, and extended plant scope.

Good understanding of Gear Box, Coupling and systems

Support Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external clients.

Lead global technical project teams of multi-discipline engineers, designers and suppliers

Manage Engineering schedule, including on time release of equipment specifications, bills of material, and customer documentation

Lead all technical contract requirements on assigned projects to deliver on targets and objectives, including certifications and compliance to all applicable standards

Provide engineering support during proposal, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and operation

Support team with detailed design decisions to meet contract requirements, such as overall system control philosophies and main equipment specification

Conduct detailed review of contract requirements and specifications and translate these to the project team.

Required

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience in packaging or operation of rotating equipment

Relevant minimum experience of 10 years is expected in the field of Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through combination of positions in Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Proposals, and/or Procurement.
