Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in India seeks an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee dispatch, transportation planning, and inventory control. You will coordinate with warehouse teams, carriers, and Sales to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate billing.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics, proficiency in SAP, and GST compliance, with a focus on cost optimization and data-driven reporting using Power BI and MIS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments as per customer requirements.
• Plan vehicle numbers and types per consignee orders.
• Monitor inbound/outbound logistics to meet service level targets.
• Prevent delays and disruptions in transportation.
• Process logistics and transportation invoices on time.
• Verify freight bills against contracts.
• Support freight cost optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
• Generate E-Way Bills for applicable shipments.
• Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.
• Update SAP with accurate transaction data.
• Maintain shipment, inventory, billing and dispatch records.
• Support inventory reconciliation and stock movement tracking.
• Develop logistics, warehouse dashboards and performance reports.
• Analyze transportation costs, delivery performance and inventory trends.
• Provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
• Address customer delivery concerns and resolve promptly.

Professional Skills – Essential

• Above 3 Year of Experience in logistics & warehouse

• Proficiency in MS office, Excel, Power BI, MIS reporting, data analysis, and MS Excel.
