Job summary

Swiggy is hiring a Fleet Manager to lead a large team of pickup and delivery partners in Indore. You will drive partner efficiency, attendance, and safety while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer experience.

You will design processes, train field staff, conduct regular audits, and manage attrition. The role requires local knowledge, weekend availability, and the ability to motivate blue-collar teams to perform at peak levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in process design and operations implementation.
• 2–3 years experience managing blue-collar workers.
• Willing to travel within the city and own a bike.
• Available to work on weekends.
• Strong supervisory, problem-solving and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 120-150 Pickup and Delivery Partners daily; drive efficiency.
• Maintain daily attendance of Pickup and Delivery Partners per demand.
• Improve and maintain promised delivery times for better customer experience.
• Conduct classroom/field training for better customer experience.
• Conduct field audits for better compliance among Pickup and Delivery Partners.
• Manage attrition and control absconders via engagement activities.
• Provide feedback and weekly one-on-ones to address issues.
• Ensure excellent customer experience by solving order escalations.
• Support Pickup and Delivery Partners during emergencies and exigencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Managing a team of 120-150 Pickup and Delivery Partners directly on a daily basis Drive Pickup & Delivery Partner efficiency assigned at an individual level.

• Provide feedback at the individual level and conduct weekly one-on-ones to understand problem areas.
• Ensure excellent customer experience by solving order level escalations.
• Support Pickup and Delivery Partners during emergencies and exigencies.

Desired Skills:-

• Prior experience in process design and operations implementation. 2-3 years of experience in managing blue collar workers.
• Should have a bike and be willing to travel within the city.
• Should be available to work on Weekends.
• Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate and train blue collared workers.
• Should know local geographical area knowledge and should be able to converse in local languages
• The candidate should have an entrepreneurial attitude / should be a go-getter
• Must have attention to detail and critically think through to resolve problems.
• Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service.
