We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team in Mumbai. The Logistics Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and billing processes. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can maintain accurate documentation and coordinate effectively with various internal departments. Key Responsibilities include preparing and issuing tax invoices accurately and within required timelines, generating and maintaining E-way Bills as per statutory requirements, and preparing Delivery Challans and other logistics-related documentation. The Logistics Assistant will verify Purchase Orders (POs) before processing invoices and dispatches, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of materials. Additionally, the role involves working closely with the Accounts Department to ensure billing accuracy and timely reconciliation, as well as maintaining organized records of invoices, POs, Delivery Challans, and transport documents. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in billing, logistics documentation, or commercial operations. A good knowledge of GST invoicing and E-way Bill generation is essential, as well as hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar systems. Proficiency in MS Excel, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and coordination skills are also required.
