Job summary

Lam Research in Bengaluru invites a Logistics Analyst 2 to manage returns, reverse logistics, and spare parts after-sales activities with a strong focus on data analysis and process improvement.

You will work with SAP MM/SD, Power BI, and SAP defects reporting tools, coordinating with regional teams to meet SLAs and drive continuous improvement in the reverse value chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing reverse value chain, logistics and customer service processes.
• Ownership of KPIs including RCCA for misses.
• Proficiency in SAP MM/SD and MS Office.
• Strong stakeholder interfacing across regions and ability to escalate when required.
• Problem solving and ability to work independently under tight timelines.
• Supply chain/logistics certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow and execute defined guidelines for global returns and coordinate with regional SPOCs, field engineers and customer service to meet SLA.
• Analyze Spares Returns, SAP modules, and defect reporting systems to improve processes.
• Review reports and KPIs to identify gaps, compute root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with management and global stakeholders on returns processes including reverse logistics and product availability.
• Collaborate with Lam Engineers to return warranty parts after failure analysis.
• Monitor logistics, delays, and proofs of delivery; take proactive actions.
• Keep records of the return process and ensure complete closed-loop transactions.
• Interact with customers and service reps for post-sales repair/refurbishment tasks.
• Understand issues related to returns, conduct RCA, and provide timely solutions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports with KPI metrics and RCA on misses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Years of Experience : Minimum 2 to 5 years

Job Experience : 2 years of experience in Reverse logistics, repair operations, supply chain is preferrable

Educational : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/IP/IM) or MBA in supply chain or operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follow & execute defined guidelines/checklist in managing global returns & coordinate closely with regional SPOCs(Single point of contact), Field engineers and Customer service to ensure part return within agreed SLA (Service level agreement).
• Perform analysis related to Spares Returns Order Processing, Lam's Reverse Logistics Management System in SAP, Lam's Quality Defect Reporting System and SAP Material Master
• Analyze reports and metrics for deviation from plan, reconcile data variances and use that information to guide the identification of root cause and execution of corrective action activities to deliver system capability and improvement. Works with Regional Users to understand gaps. Conducts root cause and corrective actions to drive closure to the gaps
• Works with management & global stakeholders to address multiple aspect of returns process, including reverse logistics, repairs, customer issue's, business plans and product availability.
• Work closely with Lam Engineers, ensure return of warranty eligible parts after failure analysis.
• Monitor logistics, flow of failed parts and POD, must take proactive action if delay or escal
• Maintain consistent follow-up and track each stage of the return process to ensure a complete, closed-loop transaction.
• Interacts with customers and/or service representatives to handle a variety of post-sales repair/refurb/cleaning service functions
• Ability to understand issue's related to returns, RCA(Root Cause Analysis) and provide solution in time bound manner.
• Records and reports status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules.
• Ability to interpret large data and suggest Continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, including KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) and Operational Metrics, provide RCA on misses.

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Proven experience in managing processes in the any of areas related to reverse value chain, logistics and customer service with natural flair for problem-solving, related to process and SAP etc.
• Demonstrated ownership with regards to KPI's for his/her respective function, including RCCA for misses.
• Proficiency in SAP MM/SD, MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High level of stakeholder's interfacing skills across regions, effective listener, professional and courteous, need to be able to escal effectively when required
• Strong Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills & Ability to work independently and meet aggressive timelines
• Certification in Supply chain, Logistics.
• Prior work experience in reverse value chain, Dangerous Goods report.
• Exposure to new tools & technology in reverse logistics/asset recovery domain will be added advantage.
• End user exposure to Power BI and Power Apps.
