Job summary

Tata Capital is seeking a Sales Officer for microfinance operations across assigned territories in India. You will drive disbursement targets, manage delinquency, and build strong client relationships while expanding reach through JLG-based lending models.

Fresh graduates to up to 5 years’ experience are welcome. You will conduct regular field visits, centre meetings, and support the portfolio with diligent collection practices and fraud controls.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Fresher to max 5 years as a sales officer in microfinance.
• Basic understanding of Microfinance and JLG model preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint liability Groups and disburse loans to target customers/geographies.
• Develop and manage teams across territories for market reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management; meet daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, especially overdue accounts.
• Undertake regular field visits, centre meetings and loan applicant interactions.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking delinquencies and frauds.
• Build strong client relationships and brand identification with customers.
• Ensure weekly/daily meetings and visits to centres.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre
• Fresher to maximum of 5yrs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
