Job summary

Genpact in Bengaluru is seeking a senior F5 Load Balancer specialist to manage F5 LTM/GTM, create virtual servers, and optimize traffic with SSL offloading and profiles. You will handle certificate management, monitor health and performance, and upgrade BIG IP versions to latest releases.

The role requires hands-on experience with routing, switching (Nexus/legacy) and cloud virtualization, ensuring secure and efficient application delivery for global traffic.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer, F5 LTM and GTM.
• Good knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Manage F5 LTM and GTM including creating virtual servers and mapping pools and pool members.
• Create and update profiles on F5 and associate profiles with virtual servers.
• Experience with hosting SSL certificates on F5 BIG IP platform including offloading and bridging.
• Import certificates and key files to F5 and create SSL profiles for client and server.
• Modify traffic on the F5 BIG IP platform through priority group activations and ratios.
• Experience with upgrading F5 BIG IP versions such as 15, 16 and 17.
• Routing and Switching including Nexus and legacy switches.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Experience with load balancers for administrating and monitoring global and local traffic using F5 BIG IP LTM and GTM
• Managing F5 LTM and GTM including creating virtual servers and mapping pools and pool members
• Create and update profiles on F5 based on requirements and associate profiles with virtual servers accordingly
• Experience in creating and modifying basic rules for redirection and pool selection
• Knowledge of creating SNAT pools for application specific requests and associating them with virtual servers
• Experience with hosting SSL certificates on the F5 BIG IP platform including offloading and bridging
• Import certificates and key files to F5 and create SSL profiles for client and server based on requirements
• Associate SSL profiles to virtual servers
• Modify traffic on the F5 BIG IP platform through priority group activations ratio weights and various algorithms
• Experience with creating updating and associating health monitors and performance monitors based on requirements
• Optimize ciphers to improve or remediate SSL grades through F5
• Experience with upgrading F5 BIG IP versions such as to versions of 15, 16 and 17
