Job summary

Wipro in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced F5 specialist to manage and optimize F5 LTM and GTM deployments. You will perform regular maintenance, apply updates, and configure devices to ensure peak performance and reliability.

You will troubleshoot complex load-balancing and traffic-management issues, monitor health dashboards, implement security best practices, and author documentation. Mentoring junior engineers and sharing expertise is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with F5 Load Balancers (LTM and GTM).
• F5 certifications desirable (LTM/GTM).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, HTTP.

Job description

Manage and maintain F5 Load Balancer systems: Perform regular maintenance, updates, and configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of F5 LTM and GTM devices.

Advanced troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex issues related to load balancing, traffic management, and application delivery using F5 technologies.

Optimize traffic management: Implement and refine load balancing policies to distribute traffic efficiently across servers, ensuring minimal latency and high availability.

Monitor system health: Continuously monitor the health and performance of F5 devices, utilizing tools and dashboards to detect and address potential issues proactively.

Security management: Implement best practices for securing F5 devices, including SSL configuration, DDOS protection, and access control as per NT standards.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for F5 load balancers.

Training and mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and support staff in the operation and management of F5 technologies.

Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with F5 Load Balancers, including LTM and GTM.

Value add: Certifications: F5 Certified Technology Specialist certifications in LTM and GTM are highly desirable.

Technical skills: Proficiency in F5 configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, and HTTP.
