Job summary

Kairos Technologies in Kochi is seeking a Linux Device Driver (LDD) Lead with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Linux kernel and device driver development.

The role requires deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, Real-Time Linux, RT porting, and Android kernel, plus hands-on driver porting across interfaces such as UFS, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, and Display.

You will lead technical efforts, debug kernel panics, ensure system stability, and support automotive infotainment integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Linux kernel and device driver expertise with leadership
• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals, Real-Time Linux, RT porting, and Android kernel
• Hands-on driver porting across interfaces (UFS, Filesystem, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, Display)
• Proven debugging of kernel panics/crashes, system stability, and automotive infotainment integration

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Linux kernel and device driver initiatives.
• Port drivers across interfaces such as UFS, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, UART, and Display.
• Debug kernel panics and ensure system stability for automotive infotainment.
• Provide technical leadership for LDD projects in Kochi.
