Job summary

Pashupati Capital Services invites a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, tune, and maintain our high-frequency trading infrastructure. You will work with senior engineers and trading desks on bare-metal Linux servers co-located at Indian exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX, IndiaINX) and also maintain our Windows/Microsoft Server environment.

You will optimise hardware, BIOS, time synchronisation, and day-end operations while supporting trading and back-office apps.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on Linux administration experience.
• Interest in performance tuning and low-latency environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server administration and patch management.
• Comfort with scripting and automation (Bash; Python or Ansible a plus).

Job Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky or Ubuntu).
• Interest in performance tuning and low-latency environments.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server administration and patch management.
• Comfort with scripting and automation (Bash; Python or Ansible a plus).
• Familiarity with Indian financial exchanges or trading platforms is a strong plus.
• A methodical, ownership-driven approach and willingness to work on‑site with trading operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a broking, trading, HFT, algo, or financial services technology environment.
• Exposure to trading terminals, algo platforms, exchange connectivity, vendor licensing, Linux/SQL support, or server/application support.
• Ability to work independently in a regulated, time-sensitive business environment.
