Job summary

Quadeye Securities Pvt Ltd in India is seeking Linux Engineers to manage and administer Linux computing systems, hardware, software and storage infrastructure powering our 24/7 trading operations.

You will provide direct production support, handle colo/trading and data center issues, and optimize servers for low latency while ensuring security and firewall management.

Qualifications

• Linux distribution installation and troubleshooting (CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Experience with firewall and security.
• Scripting in Shell and Python.
• Monitoring tools: Ansible, Zabbix.
• AWS services: EC2 and S3.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support of Linux and related technology in a production/live trading environment.
• Hands-on support for production issues related to colo/trading, office and data center environments.
• Support and Administer firewall environment.
• Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting of linux based servers, including hardware/software upgrades.
• Tuning and optimizing servers for low latency.

We are looking to hire Linux Engineers to manage and administer the Linux computing systems hardware, software and storage infrastructure that allow our trading strategies to run 24/7. The aim is to support and manage the trading infrastructure for uniquely customized systems of Quadeye.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide direct technical support of Linux and related technology in a production/live trading environment

Providing hands-on support for production issues related to colo/trading, office and data center environments

Support and Administer firewall environment

Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting of linux based servers, which include supporting hardware changes, software installations, and upgrades

Tuning and optimizing servers for low latency

Requirements

3+ Years of experience in Industry

Engineering degree in Computer Science or any other discipline

Exposure on installation, troubleshooting in Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) environment with experience in Firewall and Security

Strong Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting

Hands on experience in Monitoring Tools like Ansible / Zabbix

Hands on experience on AWS services like EC2 and S3

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high priority projects

Ability to learn new technologies quickly
