Design, build, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable Linux systems Manage and optimize Red Hat / CentOS / Oracle Linux / Ubuntu environments Perform rack mounting, cabling, and physical deployment of servers in datacenter environments Participate in datacenter setup, expansion, and relocation activities Install, upgrade, and patch OS, kernel, and system packages Perform performance tuning across CPU, memory, storage, and network layers Act as L2 escalation point for Linux-related incidents across production & non-production environments Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring issues Support virtualized and cloud platforms (VMware / AWS / Azure / GCP) Perform hardware replacement tasks such as CPU, Memory , disk etc.. on oracle and DELL hardware. Ensure compliance with security standards and VAPT recommendations Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks Provide technical guidance and mentor L1 / L2 engineers Participate in on-call and weekend support rotation
Hands-on experience with Oracle Linux & Solaris installation and configuration Strong expertise in Red Hat, CentOS, Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu environments Knowledge of Linux internals, boot process, systemd, kernel tuning Experience in hardware installation, replacement, and datacenter activities Hands-on experience with ILOM configuration and server management Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, bonding, routing, and firewall troubleshooting Experience with OS patching, package management, and lifecycle management Hands-on exposure to VAPT remediation and security hardening
Experience working on Oracle Engineered Systems - Exadata, ODA, PCA Knowledge of Private Cloud infrastructure environments Exposure to automation or scripting (Shell / Python) Experience supporting virtualized or cloud infrastructure Understanding of compliance and audit requirements
