Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) in Bengaluru is seeking a senior engineer with 10–14 years of Linux device driver development for embedded SoCs. You will drive pre- and post-silicon validation, optimize drivers, and collaborate with customers to resolve issues while guiding technical directions.

A strong background in ARMv8/ARMv9 and experience with PCIe/UCIe/Ethernet/UFS/CSI are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of experience in Linux device driver development.
• Embedded system software development for pre/post silicon stages.
• Solid exposure to ARMv8/ARMv9 architectures.
• Experience with PCIe/UCIe/Ethernet/UFS/CSI standards and debugging.

.10-14 years of experience in Linux device driver development -

pre/post silicon development, Customer use case/issue resolution for embedded system software for any Auto/HPC SoCs.

Good knowledge on ARMV8/V9 architecture.

Having solid exposure to two or more of PCIe/UCIe/Ethernet/UFS/CSI standard specification and can demonstrate aspiration to validate/contribute to upcoming standards.

Development expertise on AVB, TSN protocols, TCP/IP Protocol.

Understands the stack thoroughly and can optimize the performance. Root cause analysis of communication failure and data throughput improvement, etc.

Working experience of Pre-Silicon Validation on Emulators (Zebu preferred).

Comfortable leading the team technically and direclty collaborate with customers.
