Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Lineman role based in Mumbai. The Lineman is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power lines and related infrastructure to ensure reliable power distribution. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting lines and equipment, working on poles and underground systems, assisting with substation operations, and safely operating heavy equipment and tools as needed. The role involves responding to outages, performing routine maintenance, following safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with a field team and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.


• Experience working with Heavy Equipment commonly used in linework and utility construction.


• Valid CDL Class A license (or ability to obtain), with experience driving and operating utility trucks and related vehicles.


• Familiarity with Substation operations, equipment, and safety procedures.


• Proven commitment to safety, including adherence to PPE requirements, fall protection, and electrical safety standards.


• Ability to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and manual handling.


• Relevant technical training or certification in electrical linework or utility operations; prior experience as a lineman or in a related field is preferred.


• Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately and on time.
