Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Lighting Project Manager role based in Chennai. The Lighting Project Manager will oversee end‑to‑end project execution, from initial requirements gathering and technical coordination to installation and commissioning of architectural lighting solutions. Responsibilities include planning project timelines, managing budgets, tracking materials, and coordinating with suppliers, contractors, designers, and internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery. The role involves expediting orders, monitoring logistics, arranging inspections, and resolving site issues while maintaining quality and design intent. The Lighting Project Manager will also prepare project documentation, progress reports, and client updates, ensuring a smooth, well‑communicated project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong project coordination and Project Management skills, preferably in lighting, architecture, interiors, or construction.


• Experience as an Expeditor with hands‑on Expediting skills to drive timely delivery of materials and services.


• Knowledge of Logistics Management, including shipping coordination, tracking, and vendor follow‑up.


• Inspection experience to verify quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to design and safety standards.


• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, interior design, construction management, or a related field.


• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, lighting layouts, and specifications.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and site teams.


• High level of organization, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced project environments.


• Proficiency with project tracking tools and common office software; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage.


• Prior experience in lighting or building‑services projects in an on‑site capacity is highly preferred.
