Job summary

Alten seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead lighting and socket engineering for complex projects in Pune. The role covers basic and detail design, load calculations, distribution panels, Relux/Dialux layouts, Caneco Grow, and BIM interface.

Coordinate across disciplines, prepare As-Built drawings, SLDs, cable routing, and final ELP/EPP drawings in PDF and CAD. Experience with Relux/Dialux, Caneco Grow and NFPA requirements is valued.

Qualifications

• Defines lighting and socket schemes and preliminary loads.
• Prepare electrical load calculations for lighting and sockets.
• Coordinate BIM interfaces and planning with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Finalise SLDs and panel load schedules.
• Produce lighting and socket layouts and related drawings (Relux/Dialux).
• Prepare As-Built drawings and final ELP/EPP using CAD/PDF formats.

• Basic Design
• Design schemes for BHS Lighting including Normal, Emergenecy and EXIT
• Design Schemes for BHS power sockets
• Load requirements as per Specifications.
• Preliminary Coordination with all relevant disciplines
• Initial Documentation & Planning (Lighting and Socket FDS)
• Interface requirements to BIM (PanelLocations eg.)
• Detail Design
• Finalize Electrical Load Calculations Lighting and Sockets
• Finalize Lighting/Socket distribution panels with OEM
