Alpha Elevators in Chennai, Tamil Nadu invites skilled Elevator Technicians to join our team. We seek candidates with ITI/ Diploma qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical fields, capable of installation, maintenance, and rapid fault diagnosis of passenger and freight elevators.

Freshers and experienced technicians alike are welcome, with travel across South India expected. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and ensure safety standards while

Qualifications

• ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical fields.
• Experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or breakdown repair preferred.
• Willingness to travel across South India.

Responsabilités

• Install, test, and commission passenger, freight, and commercial elevators.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of elevators and lifting systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
• Attend elevator breakdowns and carry out repairs.
• Inspect and replace defective elevator components.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Maintain service reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and service teams.
• Travel to customer locations across South India when required.

Job Summary

Alpha Elevators is looking for motivated and technically skilled Elevator Technicians / Lift Technicians to join our team in Chennai.

Candidates with experience in elevator installation, lift maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs are encouraged to apply.

Freshers with ITI or Diploma qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical fields who are interested in building a career in the elevator industry are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission passenger lifts, freight elevators, and commercial elevators.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of elevators and lifting systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and elevator control system faults.
• Attend elevator breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.
• Inspect, repair, and replace defective elevator components.
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring, control panels, and related elevator equipment.
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Follow prescribed safety procedures and elevator maintenance standards.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and job documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, supervisors, and internal service teams.
• Travel to customer locations across South India whenever required.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: Freshers to 10 years.
• Relevant experience in elevator installation, lift maintenance, elevator servicing, or breakdown repair is preferred.
• Qualification: ITI Electrician, ITI Fitter, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Freshers with a strong interest in the elevator industry may apply.
• Candidates must be willing to travel to customer sites across South India.
• A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
