Job summary

The Hoxton Bengaluru City is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests at the hotel pool and surrounding leisure areas. You will monitor pool activities, respond to emergencies with first aid and rescue skills, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

With prior hotel or resort lifeguard experience and current CPR/First Aid certification, you will enforce safety rules, maintain lifesaving equipment, and support the team in delivering a welcoming guest experience in a

• Previous lifeguard experience in hotel, resort, club or similar leisure environment.
• Valid Lifeguard certification with current CPR, First Aid and rescue qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of pool safety procedures and emergency response.
• Calm, confident and quick decision-maker in emergencies.

The Hoxton is opening its very first neighbourhood hotel in Asia, coming to India s Bengaluru city centre in 2026. Job Description

What you ll do

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests using the swimming pool and surrounding leisure areas.
• Monitor pool activities and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and rescue assistance when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness, safety and compliance with operating standards.
• Enforce pool rules and safety procedures while delivering friendly and professional guest service.
• Maintain lifesaving equipment, first aid supplies and safety signage in good working order.
• Support the wider hotel team in creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable guest experience.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly and maintain accurate incident records.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and local statutory regulations.
