Job summary

SolarSquare, India’s leading residential solar brand, is seeking a Liaisoning Manager to support project execution. You will handle interactions with local DISCOMs and government bodies to ensure timely approvals and permits for rooftop solar installations. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in liaisoning and is proficient in communication and coordination. This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact in India’s clean energy journey within a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in liaisoning, field coordination, or government approvals.
• Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of applications for Net Metering and Subsidy approvals.
• Coordinate with local DISCOM offices and nodal agencies for timely project clearances.
• Support the team in permit-related activities and documentation.
• Follow up on the status of regulatory applications and keep internal stakeholders updated.
• Provide on-ground support during site visits and inspections by government authorities.

We are a full-stack D2C residential solar brand - designing, installing, maintaining (after-sales) and financing solar systems for home-owners across India.

The Liaisoning Manager will support project execution by handling key interactions with local DISCOMs, government bodies, and nodal agencies. This role is essential for ensuring timely approvals, permits, and smooth coordination for rooftop solar installations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and submission of applications for Net Metering and Subsidy approvals

Coordinate with local DISCOM offices and nodal agencies for timely project clearances

Support the team in permit-related activities and documentation

Follow up on the status of regulatory applications and keep internal stakeholders updated

Maintain records of approvals, NOCs, and correspondence with authorities

Provide on-ground support during site visits and inspections by government authorities

Ensure smooth liaisoning for Net Metering connections and subsidy processing

Assist in building long-term relationships with key government stakeholders

Support the Operations and Project Management team in meeting compliance timelines

Key Requirements

Education:

Minimum: Graduate (preferably in Engineering or Science discipline)

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in Liaisoning, field coordination, or government approvals

Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector is a plus

Other Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in using Excel and basic reporting tools

Willingness to travel for field visits and meetings

Ability to manage local stakeholders and regulatory authorities

Strong follow-up and coordination skills
