Job summary

- Strong understanding of property documents and mortgage processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal scrutiny of property documents for Home Loans, LAP (Loan Against Property), and other secured lending products.
- Verify title deeds, sale deeds, agreement copies, encumbrance certificates, property tax receipts, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with empaneled advocates for legal opinions and property verification reports.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company credit policies.
- Identify legal risks associated with proposed lending transactions and recommend suitable mitigants.
- Review and validate mortgage creation documentation.
- Handle documentation related to loan disbursement and security creation.
- Support recovery and collection teams in legal proceedings involving default accounts.
- Liaise with customers, advocates, builders, and government authorities for legal clarifications.
- Maintain legal records, reports, and compliance documentation.
