Job summary

Hlfppt is seeking a qualified legal professional to draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including agreements, contracts, and notices. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws, coordinate with external advocates, and support HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations on legal matters. The role requires strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills, with knowledge of Indian contract and corporate statutes.

Bar enrollment is preferred and LL.M. is a plus.

Qualifications

  • LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
  • Enrollment with the Bar Council preferred.
  • LL.M. will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent legal drafting and document review skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Labour Laws, Companies Act (where applicable), Civil Procedure Code, Criminal Procedure Code, and other relevant statutes.
  • Ability to draft replies to legal notices independently.

  • Prepare and respond to legal notices, demand notices, and statutory communications.

Litigation Management
  • Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms.
  • Assist in handling civil, criminal, labour, consumer, arbitration, and commercial matters.
  • Maintain records of ongoing litigation, court cases, notices, and legal documentation.
  • Track hearing dates, legal deadlines, and case status.
Legal Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Central and State laws.
  • Support departments in interpreting legal provisions and minimizing legal risks.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports and legal opinions.
  • Monitor amendments in laws and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
Contract Management
  • Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and service agreements.
  • Identify legal risks in contracts and recommend appropriate modifications.
  • Maintain a repository of executed agreements and monitor contract renewals.
Advisory Support
  • Provide legal support to HR, Finance, Procurement, Administration, and Operations.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal implications of business decisions.
  • Assist in policy drafting and review from a legal perspective.
Documentation & Record Management
  • Maintain confidential legal records and document management systems.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of legal documents.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to legal matters for management review.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
  • Enrollment with the Bar Council will be preferred.
  • LL.M. will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent legal drafting and document review skills.
