Job summary

Hughes-Castell seeks a Senior Legal Director to lead a regional legal agenda across India, Thailand and Malaysia. You will advise senior leaders on regulatory compliance, healthcare law, and commercial matters, shaping risk-aware, business-friendly strategies.

We require 12+ years' PQE, an LLB licensed to practice in India (LLM preferred), and a track record in regulated industries. You will manage external counsel, negotiate complex contracts, and drive AI-enabled legal service improvements.

Qualifications

• LLB recognised in India and licensed to practice in India.
• LLM preferred.
• 12+ years' PQE.
• Senior in-house or equivalent experience in regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of India, Thailand & Malaysia healthcare, regulatory and commercial law.
• Strong negotiation, drafting and contract interpretation skills.
• Clear, commercially grounded advice to senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing complex contracts and external counsel.
• Healthcare / medical device / pharma background preferred.

Our client is a global life science company. We are looking for a senior legal leader to serve as primary legal advisor across India, Thailand & Malaysia.
