Job summary

ConglomerateIT India in Hyderabad seeks a Legal Compliance Manager to oversee legal agreements, risks, and regulatory compliance across the US and India for an IT staffing and consulting firm.

The role requires LLB/LLM with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs, and a deep understanding of US employment and Indian labour laws. Onsite, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience in IT staffing or consulting with US clients preferred.
• Knowledge of US employment/immigration compliance and Indian corporate/labour law.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, consultant contracts, NDAs, and non-solicitation clauses.
• Build standard templates and a clause playbook outlining negotiation parameters and commercial risk flags.
• Handle US compliance matters including worker classification (W-2, 1099, C2C), I-9, E-Verify, and H-1B compliance.
• Manage India compliance requirements including Companies Act filings, labour laws, Shops and Establishments, EPFO, ESI, gratuity, and DPDP Act data protection.
• Coordinate ISO standard policies, controls, and audit readiness.

Key Eligibility Criteria
