Job summary

Anaxee is seeking a Legal Associate to join its in-house legal team and own commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and data privacy matters. This is a hands-on role working closely with business, operations, finance, HR and leadership teams.

Role requires 2–3 years in Corporate/In-house legal, strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills, and excellent English communication. Immediate joiners preferred.

Qualifications

• BA LL.B./LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant Corporate/In-house experience.
• Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Good legal research, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage MSAs, NDAs, Vendor Agreements, Service Level Agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Handle end-to-end contract management incl. execution, renewals and repository management.
• Manage ROC, corporate secretarial and regulatory compliances.
• Support DPDP/data privacy compliance and advise teams on applicable requirements.
• Conduct legal research and track regulatory developments and their business impact.
• Provide practical legal advice on business, commercial and corporate matters.
• Handle legal notices, correspondence and litigation support; coordinate with external counsel.
• Support IP and Labour Law compliances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Operations, Finance and HR.

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Associate to join our in-house legal team and take ownership of commercial contracts, corporate and regulatory compliance, legal research, data privacy, legal operations, and day-to-day business legal matters.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with business, operations, finance, HR, technology, and leadership teams — and can translate legal requirements into practical, business-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage MSAs, NDAs, Vendor Agreements, Service Level Agreements and other commercial contracts.

• Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills.
• Immediate Joiners will be appreciated.
• Excellent English communication skills- written and verbal. English communication is a must for this role.
• Good legal research, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
• CS qualification/experience will be an added advantage.
